There’s nothing season-specific about Prada and Miu Miu‘s holiday windows, which is kind of why we love them. By ditching the winter wonderland template, they stand out in the blizzard of frosted panes, twinkling lights, red, green and glitter:
Instead of the North Pole, Miu Miu transports us to Versailles through powder blues, polished wood floors and gilded accents. A little snowglobe of 18th century French courts, the scene’s a lavish complement to Miu Miu’s resort collection. We think Marie Antoinette would’ve felt right at home amongst the taffeta cocktail dresses, metallic shoes and chunky baubles.
Equally luxe yet more modern, Prada’s windows are jewelry box inspired. Lined in floor to ceiling velvet, they lend a refined, sumptuous backdrop to the house’s exquisitely tailored dresses and slim trench coats.
Just like the best things on our holiday wish lists, Prada and Miu Miu’s windows are extravagant and eye-catching, each in their own way. And that presentation, of course, sparks our shopping bug way more than any jolly snowman display could.
