Cara Delevingne is no stranger to A-list, celebrity friendships. Whether she’s smooching Miley Cyrus or striking a pose alongside Kimye, Delevingne knows how to have a good time—and with an envy-inducing crew, no less. Most notably, Delevingne’s fast-friendship with Rihanna has a tendency to grab headlines whenever the two buds get together.
This weekend, the 21-year-old supermodel partied with Rihanna on a beach in Barbados, RiRi’s home turf. After a family Christmas vacation to the Caribbean island (extremely well-documented for Delevingne’s 3.6 million followers to enjoy on Instagram), she let loose with Rihanna to share some sun-kissed cuddles and giggles.
The duo left for New York City today, where they will ring in 2014 together at Jay Z’s exclusive 40/40 Club. The inseparable BFFs first met when Delevingne first introduced herself to Rihanna at the 2012 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, at which RiRi was a headlined performer. Rumor has it Delevingne is currently recording an album with the 25-year-old songstress’ producer, too.
This vacation also allowed us to catch a glimpse of Delevingne’s new under-boob tattoo (see below!), which appears to be "Don’t Worry Be Happy", as penned by Bobby McFerrin in his 1998 hit. Rather fitting ink for this free-spirited wild child, don’t you think?
