Last summer J.C. Penney struck out on a rebranding path, with plans for a new logo, exclusive capsule collections and in-store boutiques to revitalize the department store’s image. It was all very exciting—especially the in-store boutique expansion, since Joe Fresh was included in the roster.
Though Joe Fresh opened a few stores in the Northeastern U.S. over the past eighteen months, it’s very adorable, super-affordable basics are currently far from accessible across the country due to a lack of e-commerce. But with the J.C. Penney partnership, not only does the Canadian chain get way more floorspace, it gets its first online boutique, too.
That means those budget-friendly pieces—less moody than Zara and less trend-driven than Forever 21—will be much easier for everyone to get their hands on. At around $30 a pop for things like sherbet colored blouses and stripey day dresses, we imagine there will be lots of people who want to do just that. Shop some of our favorites below, and shop the full selection (which just landed online yesterday) here.
