After six years, Sienna and Savannah Miller, the founding co-creative directors of Twenty8Twelve, are cutting ties with the British brand. The Miller sisters were an integral force behind the company’s 2007 launch—the name Twenty8Twelve itself is actually a play on Sienna’s birthdate—but going forward, the line will be run by its existing team of designers.
Obviously, the Millers’ exit will call for a bit of rebranding. Beginning with Fall 2012 collection, the label will read "Twenty8Twelve London" rather than "Twenty8Twelve by s.miller." There’s also a website relaunch in the works, which will apparently include e-commerce. And while Twenty8Twelve’s freestanding stores are limited to London for now, Stateside fans of the brand can find it at Shopbop, Nordstrom and select Intermix locations.
