We’ve been writing all week about how to score mega deals on 2013’s Black Friday and Cyber Monday and, we’ll admit, we’ve gotten seriously caught up in the fun of it all. While big box retailers certainly provide huge, tempting discounts, let’s not forget about the small businesses which they started out as and at which many of us regularly shop.
American Express launched Small Business Saturday in 2010, and has since grown the marketing campaign into a sizable venture, with corporate partners ranging from FedEx to Facebook. This year, shoppers and American Express customers can earn $10 back for every $10 you spend on Saturday, November 30, as well as widespread discounts nationwide. Pretty amazing, right?
