In need of six shirts and four pairs of pants, but only have $60 in your pocket? No problem! That’s where H&M comes in.
In SNL‘s latest episode featuring host John Goodman, cast member Jay Pharoah (sporting a flat top ‘do) raps about the gift-giving benefits of fast fashion giant H&M. When a downtrodden Goodman strolls in asking for 10 pieces to check off of his holiday shopping list, Pharoah harps on some pretty standard H&M merchandise, including too-skinny jeans ($8.95), flannel button-ups ($5.95) and a flamingo yard decoration ($1.95). As Goodman painfully shimmies into a pair of those aforementioned tiny jeans, SNL put its legion of six first-year players to work modeling orange track jackets, polka dot shirts and even a Pomeranian (yes, there’s a canine cameo). We especially appreciate the added detail that the lines stretch "all the way to Senegal." During H&M rush hour, it sure feels that way.
