Your Monday is about to get a whole lot better, because Taylor Swift just announced her new album! And not only that, she dropped the first single and music video, too. Here’s what we know so far based on the pop star’s Yahoo livestream announcement: the new album is called 1989 after Swift’s birth year (and also because she’s been listening to a whole lot of late ’80s pop lately), it’s her first official pop album ever, it’s been two years in the making, the cover art is a Polaroid picture and the physical cases will come with a variety of "picture packs" (snaps of Swift and Karlie Kloss, perhaps?)
You can buy it in stores and online October 27th, but in the meantime, you can watch the video for the first single, "Shake It Off", right here. Now go!
