While street style darling Taylor Tomasi Hill is a front-row fixture who often wears next season’s designer must-haves, it turns out she’s more like us than we may have thought: she’s a big-time Zara fan. While the redheaded industry icon is known for her slightly irreverent take on clashing patterns and statement accessories, it’s her fashion-forward basics—a chambray shirt or a pair of wide-legged trousers—that should be getting the credit, too.
Zara clearly picked up on that dichotomy, and tapped Moda Operandi’s former creative director for its newest spring campaign. Alongside writer Hailey Gates, former Barneys New York fashion director Amanda Brooks and Elle China’s Sherry Shen, Taylor poses in looks that are as stylish as they are comfortable—which seems to be Zara’s recent M.O.
After leaving her post at Moda Operandi in October, we were all left questioning where Taylor would head next. Who could’ve guessed it would lead to a foray in modeling—or at Goop, for that matter? With this one, though, nothing’s a surprise.
