It’s no secret that we’ve got a soft spot for French import brands (see also: A.P.C., Sandro, Maje), but there’s something about his-and-hers label The Kooples that’s particularly struck our fancy as of late. Perhaps that’s good ol’ exclusivity talking, as the brand’s extremely hard to find in the US—though that could be changing very, very soon. Best known for its skinny denim and tailored tuxedo jackets, The Kooples’ androgynous-cool aesthetic and contemporary price point has already made it a major hit with editors, stylists and models.
For Spring 2013, the brand is offering up more of the same animal-spotted suiting separates, striped button-downs and dangerously-slit miniskirts we’ve come to expect—plus a few surprises in the form of sweet, sunshine-colored florals and so-very-right-now metallic belts. A wearable, covetable mix if ever we saw one. Click through to see all the womenswear looks, plus some artsy shots of the couples of The Kooples.
