You may or may not have noticed, but here at Lucky, we’re on a serious fall shopping kick right now. It’s just one of those late August type of moods, you know? Naturally, our editors gravitated toward LUISAVIAROMA for their seriously-curated collection of the chicest internationally-cool staples for the fall. The Florence-based concept shop has some real fashion street cred—dating back to the late ’60s, when the original owner’s grandson, Andrea Panconesi, happened upon an up-and-coming Japanese designer. The boutique became the first shop in Europe to carry said label’s Fall/Winter 1969 collection and—oh—that designer was Kenzo.
So yup, Andrea has a meticulous eye for designers and trends—and thank goodness LUISAVIAROMA went online in 1999 ("early" by Internet standards, right?). Since then, the e-commerce boutique has been a go-to for the latest and (and what will be) greatest in luxury designer fashion. Clearly, our editors jumped at the chance to handpick their own favorite pieces for the upcoming season.
