I turned 13 in 1995, which means my first fashion experiments included plaid bodysuits and basketball jerseys. The Rag & Bone boys were also teenagers in the ’90s, and they seem, at least for Spring 2013, to prefer the mesh-laden sporty version of the Clinton years over the flannel-clad world of Angela Chase. The collection featured plenty of athletic silhouettes—basketball shorts, tennis skirts—and the kind of sunglasses guys who wear spandex love. But what really got me was the makeup: strong brows, tawny blush, and brownish-pink lipstick. What’s more ’90s than that? Click through to see my favorite looks.
