It’s no secret that pale brunettes tend to look awesome in bold green tones. It’s also pretty obvious that Angelina Jolie would look good in, well, anything. But when it comes to choosing jewelry for her red carpet appearances, Jolie often opts for oversized, gleaming emeralds.
We were first blown away by the gobstopper-sized earrings she chose for last year’s Golden Globes—and that coordinating Atelier Versace gown certainly didn’t hurt, either. Earlier this month, she wore similar studs along with a matching emerald pendant to the Critics Choice Awards (pictured at left). And last Saturday, those same gorgeous earrings made yet another outing on Angelina at the Producers Guild Awards.
Three makes this a Jolie-minted trend, and as it turns out, the actress herself helped design these gems with the help of West Coast jeweler Robert Procop. They’re part of the Style of Jolie collection, which includes cushion-cut pieces set with black spinels, golden citrines and rich rubellites—as well as those signature emeralds. But of course, it’s not enough for the striking star to just design pretty jewelry—100 percent of the proceeds from the Style of Jolie collection are donated to the Education Partnership for Children of Conflict, Angie’s charity of choice. Check out some of our favorite pieces from the philanthropic collaboration below. And call Robert Procop in Beverly Hills on 310-276-6041 if want to buy something.
