When you’re in the thick of Fashion Month, it can be mighty tempting to trade in your stilettos for comfortable sneakers—and more and more often, we’ve been seeing industry insiders doing just that. And while we’re obviously on board with this trend in general, we’re especially pumped about Tibi’s approach to sneaker chic.
The brand’s designer Amy Smilovic created custom-decorated pairs of Converse for five fashion notables: Olivia Palermo, Elin Kling, Miroslava Duma, Hanneli Mustaparta and Leandra Medine. The unique kicks are covered in Tibi’s pretty Spring 2013 prints, which range from parrots to potpourri, and bear the initials of the girl who inspired them.
But that’s not all! For the next two weeks, you too can pick up a pair of Smilovic’s specially-designed sneakers and have them monogrammed, too. And at $125 per pair, they’re far less costly than Manolos. Click through to see each style alongside its street style muse—plus links to purchase.
