Fans of United Bamboo‘s preppy duffle coats, slightly androgynous suiting and wear-everywhere parkas, get excited: the label’s designers, Thuy Pham and Miho Aoki, are set to roll out a five-piece mini-collection for Madewell this fall.
According to Denver’s 303 Magazine, United Bamboo for Madewell will include "blouses, dresses and more in great prints and interesting shapes and fabrics."
And we’ve also hear that while United Bamboo items are typically priced somewhere in the mid-hundreds, their goods for J.Crew’s sister label will be comparable to the store’s usual offerings—a silk blouse from the collection, for instance, will set you back just $125.
If Madewell’s past collaborations with the likes of Alexa Chung and Keds are any indication, United Bamboo’s capsule is sure to fly off the shelves. Now if only Pham and Aoki would release a special-edition cat calendar to accompany their special-edition line. Kitties in chambray button-ups? Imagine the possibilities…
