Swedish super-retailer H&M is renowned for its exceedingly well-received collabs with the likes of Lanvin, Marni and Versace—and when it comes to picking campaign faces, the company plays it similarly smart. Why, it was just last year that H&M chose gorgeous songstress Lana Del Rey to appear in its ads.
This time, its French actress/singer Vanessa Paradis who’ll be doing the honors as the face of the brand’s sustainable Conscious collection. Worn on the red carpet by Natalie Portman and Michelle Williams, among others, the line is made from eco-friendly materials like organic cotton and recycled polyester. "I try my best to shop consciously, and vintage is very much part of my wardrobe," the Gallic star told WWD. "I love the style and it works in an eco-friendly way because I like to use and reuse old clothes.” Here, check out a few behind-the-scenes snapshots of Vanessa modeling the Conscious collection’s forthcoming March delivery.
