It drums up excitement for the NYC opening tomorrow not with Jock Jams but with a moody soundtrack wafting over flashes of a rainy Manhattan skyline, all filmed in black and white.
But that’s why the little film’s a perfect prelude for the exhibit. That iconic black jacket shares a bit of the same wistful, sophisticated air as the film—and the 113 photos of it in the exhibit probably will too.
