It’s only the second day of December, but if you’re the type to find any excuse to dress up in sequins and sparkles, you’re likely already looking ahead to New Year’s Eve. Good news, perpetual partygoers: Lanvin’s Alber Elbaz shares the same sentiment.
The designer’s beloved French fashion house has just released their end-of-the-year holiday video, which features a debonair dude, a duo of party girls and an adorable clotheshorse-in-training (decked out, of course, in Lanvin Petite) admiring the windows of the label’s Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré flagship. Not a creature is stirring, not even a mouse…until Alber arrives, that is. The designer’s presence prompts the vitrine displays to come to life, transforming the entire store into a taffeta-bedecked dance party.
Riffing, no doubt, on Lanvin’s last viral video campaign that starred Alber busting some moves of his own, this clip’s got us lusting after those tasseled pumps and turn-lock bags. Oh, and a floral frock from our dream party dress roundup makes a cameo, too—albeit in miniaturized form.
