Sunglass Hut‘s new yarn-wrapped sunglasses make us wish daylight savings hadn’t just happened.
Being robbed of an hour of sunlight is such a shame when faced with shades like these, which are colorful, cozy and a teeny bit out-there. While they’d perk up the drabbest of outfits, the classic shape and lenses steer them away from kitch. If only we could still wear them straight through dinner, we would.
Part of Sunglass Hut’s annual Artist Series, the frames were designed by Magda Sayeg, who’s wrapped everything from sculptures to schoolbuses in yarn. But whatever the scale, her talent’s obvious.
Peep the shades up close below, and shop them here. (Bonus: $30 of every $130 purchase goes to OneSight, a foundation that provides prescription lenses to children in need.)
